It Began in a Village in South Lebanon
Where healing looked different: real whole foods, herbs, honey, and intention, long before anyone called it medicine. SHIFA is that tradition, made accessible again.

Hi, I'm Dr. Ahmad Ali Anani, ND. My roots run deep in a village in South Lebanon, where healing looked different. Real whole foods, herbs, honey, and intention, long before anyone called it medicine. That stayed with me.
When I got sick at university, my mother called and told me to make a tea, add honey, eat a kiwi. I was fine the next day. Small moment. But it planted something I couldn't ignore.
"Nature already had the answers. We just stopped trusting them."
I'm a Minnesota-licensed naturopathic doctor, a graduate of an accredited four-year naturopathic medical program, and I've spent years working with clients on exactly this. And what I kept seeing confirmed it: people eating reasonably well, doing the right things, and still feeling depleted. Fatigue. Brain fog. Gut dysfunction. The root kept pointing to the same place: nutrient deficiency. Not from carelessness. From a broken food system.
Modern farming has depleted the soil. Depleted soil produces depleted food. Depleted food produces depleted people, no matter how clean the diet looks on paper. What our ancestors got naturally from nose-to-tail eating, organ meats, whole animal nutrition, real food in its most complete form, we've quietly stopped getting at all. The body keeps the score.
That's where SHIFA was born. Not as a trend. As a correction. Organ meats are among the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet, naturally rich in bioavailable vitamins, minerals, and compounds that muscle meat simply cannot replicate. They're what humans ate for thousands of years before the modern food system replaced them with convenience. SHIFA makes that tradition accessible again, in a form you'll actually stay consistent with.
We built SHIFA to solve a quality problem too. Most organ supplements are marketed as "grass-fed," but that label alone doesn't reflect the full standard. SHIFA is sourced from organic, pasture-raised, 100% grass-fed and grass-finished cattle. No hormones, no GMOs. And because it matters deeply to many families, including my own community, SHIFA is halal. For a long time, finding organ supplements that met both true quality standards and halal requirements in the West was nearly impossible. SHIFA was built to solve that without compromise.
Tribal began locally, but it was never meant to stay local. Today SHIFA reaches customers across virtually every U.S. state and in countries around the world, built entirely through trust and real results. The mission hasn't changed: give people the nutritional foundation their ancestors built their strength on. Nose to tail when you can. SHIFA when you can't. Either way, you don't miss, one ritual at a time.
Welcome to the tribe.
